Caiff hyn ei waethygu gan gynnydd mewn tywydd eithafol oherwydd yr argyfwng hinsawdd ac sydd yn arwain yn gyflym at y problemau canlynol i gerddwyr bryniau, dringwyr, mynyddwyr a phobl sy’n hoff o’r awyr agored:
• Erydiad ar lwybrau troed
• Llwybrau lleidiog a llithrig
• Gylïau dwfn sy'n gallu troi ffêr
• Anawsterau mordwyo
• Llystyfiant wedi'i sathru

• Mwy o berygl llifogydd
• Anghydbwysedd maetholion is i lawr yr afon
Felly, oni fyddai'n wych pe gallech wneud rhywbeth gwirioneddol ystyrlon i frwydro yn erbyn y difrod i lwybrau troed yn Eryri? Dyma'ch cyfle i gefnogi prosiect gwerth chweil i fynd i'r afael ag erydiad llwybrau ac addysgu mwy o bobl i amddiffyn a chadw'r tirwedd trawiadol, unigryw hwn. Cyfrannwch yma yn ystod 22-29 Ebrill i DDYBLU eich cyfraniad.
Mwy am y rôl
Bydd hyfforddi person angerddol arall ar Dîm Llwybrau Troed Ymddiriedolaeth Genedlaethol Cymru yn Eryri yn galluogi niferoedd cynyddol o ymwelwyr i gael mynediad i’r ardal hardd hon yn ddiogel, heb niweidio’r dirwedd a bywyd gwyllt unigryw, fel Chwilen Enfys yr Wyddfa, Bele’r Coed, Ystlum Pedol Lleiaf, Heboglys Eryri, Lili’r Wyddfa a llu o gennau a mwsoglau prin.
Dywedodd Ifan Parry, Ceidwad Ardal Ymddiriedolaeth Genedlaethol Cymru yn Eryri gyda’r Tîm Llwybrau, “Mae hwn yn gyfle cyffrous i ymuno â Thîm Llwybrau Ymddiriedolaeth Genedlaethol Cymru yn Eryri ac i weithio gyda thimau ceidwaid eraill yn Eryri. Mae’n cynnig platfform ardderchog i ennill y sgiliau ymarferol sydd eu hangen i ddod yn geidwad medrus iawn.
“Bydd angen i’r ymgeisydd llwyddiannus siarad Cymraeg er mwyn iddynt allu cyfathrebu gyda thirfeddianwyr a ffermwyr lleol, yn ogystal â cheidwaid eraill o fewn Ymddiriedolaeth Genedlaethol Cymru yn Eryri. Mae’r rôl yn siwtio person ifanc, a fydd yn cwblhau NVQ Lefel 2 mewn Cadwraeth Amgylcheddol ac unrhyw gyrsiau perthnasol eraill yng Ngholeg Glynllifon. Yn ogystal, byddant yn dod yn Arweinydd Mynydd Haf cymwysedig trwy Hyfforddiant Mynydd ym Mhlas y Brenin.
“Ein bwriad yw iddynt barhau gyda Thîm Llwybrau Ymddiriedolaeth Genedlaethol Cymru yn Eryri neu mewn gwaith gwarchod llwybrau troed ac ucheldir o fewn Cymru. Bydd y rhoddion hyn yn mynd yn bell i gefnogi’r gwaith adfer a chadwraeth llwybrau troed rydym yn ei wneud yma yn Eryri, gan warchod y dirwedd y mae mwy a mwy o bobl yn dymuno ei fwynhau.”
Mwy o geidwaid = mwy o ddigwyddiadau gwirfoddol
Meddai Steve Charles, cynrychiolydd Cerdded Bryniau'r BMC a sylfaenydd digwyddiadau atgyweirio llwybrau troed gwirfoddol y BMC ‘Get Stuck In’, "Rwyf wedi bod yn mynd i'r mynyddoedd ar hyd fy oes ac mae'n wych gallu rhoi yn ôl a theimlo eich bod yn helpu i ddiogelu’r amgylchedd gwerthfawr hwn. Mae angen i ni wneud ein llwybrau mynydd yn fwy gwydn i fwy o law a defnydd cynyddol. Mae angen i'n mynyddoedd gael eu meithrin, oherwydd os nad ydym yn gwneud unrhyw beth, bydd yr ucheldir mewn cyflwr llawer gwaeth pan fyddwn yn eu trosglwyddo i genedlaethau'r dyfodol.
"Yn ystod 2023 a 2024, fe wnaeth gwirfoddolwyr Get Stuck In y BMC gwblhau 500 awr o waith yn Eryri. Fe wnaethon nhw atgyweirio dros 520m o lwybrau troed, gosod 187 o gerrig sarn ar draws tir corsiog, ailbroffilio 80m o dwmpath mawn wedi'u erydu a chlirio gwerth pum bag hofrennydd o warchodwyr coed plastig. Mae yna bedwar digwyddiadau wedi'u cynllunio ar gyfer 2025, gan ddechrau'r gwanwyn yma. Bydd hynny'n cael effaith enfawr yn yr amgylchedd mynyddig, a byddem yn croesawu ceidwad arall yn Eryri i helpu i redeg hyd yn oed mwy o ddigwyddiadau Get Stuck In yn y dyfodol.”
