BMC North Wales Meeting

Come to our next gathering of North Wales climbers and walkers and get involved in the BMC.
Area Meetings are run by volunteers and provide an opportunity for you to discuss issues and influence decisions affecting climbers and walkers locally and nationally. All are welcome.
The next meeting will take place in person at The Beacon Climbing Centre, Caernarfon - find us upstairs in the café.
The meeting will take place on Wednesday 29th October, starting at 1930. This will also be the AGM for the area.
The programme for the last N Wales area meeting of 2025 has something for everyone! Whether you are a BMC member, or an interested non-member, please join us for what should be an informal, fun and informative evening.
From 1730-1930 come and have a discounted social climb at the Beacon for just £6
If you are one of the first 50 people to get to the café from 1900 but before the meeting starts at 1930 you can bag yourself another bargain (food also available)
£1 for tea/coffee
£2 for a beer
1930-2025 - The fun begins with a quiz, test your knowledge of the mountains of North Wales and bag yourself a prize.
2030-2100 - Open Forum
Your chance to pose questions to the volunteers and staff of BMC Cymru about what's been going on in your area in 2025, and what's coming up in 2026.
The evening will be wrapped up with the election of volunteer area officers for 2026, we currently have vacancies for a Club rep and an access rep for Gogath
If you want to stand for election to any of the area's volunteer posts, or you would just like to join our team organising meetings, contributing to events and responding to issues arising in N Wales, then please contact volunteering@thebmc.co.uk or speak to one of the local area chairs well ahead of the meeting.
We hope to see you on October 29th
