BMC Midlands Area Meeting (Shrewsbury, 21 November)
The next BMC Midlands area AGM will be held on Friday 21 November. This meeting will take place at The Climbing Hut Shrewsbury, Unit 3, Market Place, Battlefield Road, Shrewsbury, SY1 4AN starting at 7:00pm. Come along to our gathering of Midlands mountaineers, climbers and walkers and learn more about the BMC.
The AGM and Area Meeting will include all the usual business, including a brief update from the Midlands Area Committee, officer elections, a slideshow, and an opportunity to socialise with fellow Midlands hill walkers, climbers, and mountaineers.
The area meeting will include guest speaker Victor Saunders, who will have recently returned from his trip to Nepal.

Area Meetings are an opportunity to meet like-minded individuals and have a say in the future of the BMC and the activities we support in your area. You'll hear updates on local issues and have the opportunity to vote on a number of matters.

Mend Our Mountains Articles
The dramatic skyline of the Great Ridge walk connects the summits of Lose Hill and Mam Tor in Derbyshire’s Hope Valley. Heavy footfall left the path in a badly eroded state and work to repair the damage to the path started in March this year, and has seen 500 metres of the most serious damage along the path repaired to protect the surrounding landscape and bordering habitat.
