Yorkshire Social Walk | 15th August
Come join us on a walk around Conistone Dib from Grassington.
You are invited to join a peer-led walk, hosted by BMC Yorkshire volunteer, Nicky Daly. This social walk will start from the National Dales Car Park in Grassington. Heading up through Grassington main street and following the Dales Way. We discover ancient ruins of medieval field settlements as we cross into open access land. The ground is uneven and undulating, ascending and descending into Conistone dib, a high sided limestone scar and craggy ravine. We descend over a short stretch of scrabbly terrace to the village of Conistone. Following the road a short way south, we take a path and gradually climb as we skirt around Grass and Bastow wood. We return along the Dales way and greet the Dales dairy cows before returning to Grassington Car Park.
We’re excited to welcome you for a memorable day in the outdoors!
