Paul Ratcliffe
CEO
Paul Ratcliffe is a lifelong hill walker and mountaineer with a deep passion for the outdoors. With over 30 years in elite sport, he has built a career leading high-performance teams. A two-time Olympian and Sydney 2000 silver medallist in Canoe Slalom, Paul has held key leadership roles, including Performance Director at Paddle Uk and Director of Performance in energy trading at Onyx Commodities. With Board experience at Surfing England, he now leads the British Mountaineering Council (BMC), championing climbers, hill walkers, and mountaineers across England and Wales.
