Basic Child Safeguarding Training | Wednesday 12th November

This training has been developed for affiliated clubs with a safeguarding contact and children attending sessions with parents/carers. Additionally, this session is open to anyone from an affiliated club who wishes to find out more about general safeguarding and what to do if they have a concern.

The Basic Child Safeguarding Training is designed for clubs where under 18s attend with their parent or carer in line with the new Safeguarding Compliance Guidance. The course is 1hr 30 minutes and will cover the following points:
- Clubs responsibility to safeguarding – duty of care
- Responsibility of the named person/safeguarding officer
- What to do if there is a concern
- The support from BMC Safeguarding Team
There is no cost for this course. The course will be 90 minutes and those attending will receive an E-certificate after the course.
