This training has been developed for affiliated clubs to provide basic guidance on adult safeguarding and the responsibility of the clubs regarding duty of care.

The Basic Adult Safeguarding Training is designed for clubs. The course is 1hr 30 minutes and will cover the following points:
- Clubs responsibility to safeguarding – duty of care
- Difference between adult and child safeguarding
- What is an adult at risk
- What to do if there is a concern
- The support from BMC Safeguarding Team
There is no cost for this course. The course will be 90 minutes and those attending will receive an E-certificate after the course.

This training has been developed for affiliated clubs with a safeguarding contact and children attending sessions with parents/carers. Additionally, this session is open to anyone from an affiliated club who wishes to find out more about general safeguarding and what to do if they have a concern.
