Winter's coming and our psyche for snow is building. But don't rush into an avalanche of problems if your ice skills have gone a bit rusty over summer. Take the time to brush up your knowledge with this series of winter skills videos.

This series of winter skills films will help you graduate from snow slopes to tackling your first graded gully climb. 

This third series of instructional films is produced exclusively for BMC TV in association with the Association of Mountaineering Instructors (AMI)Lowe Alpine and DMM.

These videos are perfect for those in need of a refresh and are after a quick educational hit. But remember, if you're at all unsure about your skills, get some face-to-face instruction from an experienced guide.
