Are you a passionate, experienced and active climbing coach? Why not apply to join our team of FUNdamentals of Climbing workshop providers.
Designed for climbing coaches, instructors, teachers, parents and anyone wishing to develop their coaching of climbing movement, technique and training, the FUNdamentals workshops provide those teaching climbing with a greater understanding of key movement and training principles.
They also form part of Mountain Training’s Coaching Scheme, and new providers will need to have a clear understanding of the place of FUNdamentals within the Coaching Scheme.
Workshop providers will be 'training the trainers' by delivering these one-day FUNdamentals practical workshops at climbing walls to a set syllabus, using a combination of teaching skills, explanation, practical demonstration, peer learning and other teaching tools.
New providers will also work with the existing provider team to constantly review and develop the workshops to ensure quality and meet participant needs.
How to apply
A full person specification and application form is available on the vacancies page of our website. The closing date for applications is 9.00am Monday 7 November. Those shortlisted will be invited to a practical assessment day in Sheffield on Tuesday 6 December.
