Peak Area Meeting: 22 November
The next Peak Area Meeting is on Wednesday 22 November 2017, starting earlier than usual at 6.30pm (food from 6.00pm), at The Maynard, Main Road, Grindleford, S32 2HE
Come along to our regular gathering of Peak climbers and walkers, to discuss the latest issues and get involved in the work of the BMC. Area meetings are run by volunteers and are your chance to join in with debate and influence decisions about what happens in your area as well as the rest of the country.
The earlier start is to allow time for an action-packed agenda, which will include a presentation by members of the independent Organisational Review Group, an update on the Peak park authority’s management of the Stanage North Lees Estate from Chief Executive Sarah Fowler, the area AGM including elections for the various volunteer roles, and the legendary Annual Quiz.
All are welcome; food will be provided by the BMC.
See the BMC Local Areas site for more details about the meeting
We want to say a big thanks to every BMC member who continues to support us through the Coronavirus crisis.
From weekly Facebook Lives and GB Climbing home training videos, to our access team working to re-open the crags and fight for your mountain access, we couldn’t do it without you.
Did you know that we've just launched a new U27 membership offer for just £1.50 / month? And with full membership from £2.50 / month, it's never been easier to join and support our work:
