Don't be shy - tell us about your accidents

Was this your ride home? Let us know the details...

Had an accident and want to help others? Just had a near-miss and want to let us know anonymously? We're starting a new feature in Summit magazine, called Scenario, and we want your tales and experiences from times when it all went a bit Pete Tong.

A new feature is coming to Summit magazine, called Scenario. Each issue, we’ll tell the story of an accident or near-miss. So we're on the hunt for your tales and your experiences. Each issue will focus on an incident reported to us, with advice and suggestions provided by experts.

Whoops! Did I just do that?

We all make mistakes – the key is learning from them. That’s where the new Summit feature, Scenario, comes in. Send us your experiences, and we’ll tell your story along with any reflections you have made on those events. With added advice and suggestions from experts, we have a great medium for helping walkers and climbers learn about potential mishaps and some ways of avoiding them.

If you’re feeling sheepish about things, don’t worry - the process can be completely anonymous and we’ll never use real names in our feature unless you ask us to.

So, if you’ve been involved in an accident which you think others could learn from, we want to hear about it.

Send your submissions to accidents@thebmc.co.uk (photos are welcome as long as they aren’t too gory!)

And let us know @team_BMC #mountainmiss
