Are you a hill walker? Want to win £350 worth of top notch hill walking gear from Berghaus, including a super-lightweight Gore-Tex jacket? It could be yours in exchange for filling in a 10-minute BMC online survey.
Just the package for summer - a highly breathable, super-lightweight Gore-Tex jacket, a classic rucksack and a versatile walking boot.
Luckily, Berghaus have kindly offered to provide all of them as prizes in exchange for taking the BMC hill walking survey.
The BMC is the representative body for hill walkers, climbers and mountaineers in England and Wales. We're aware, however, that our work is sometimes perceived as being skewed towards climbers and mountaineers at the expense of walkers. Some people believe the BMC is "just for climbers."
We are looking to improve both the work we do for hill walkers and how we communicate it. If you're a hill walker, you can help us do that by taking 10 minutes to ponder and complete the questionnaire.
By filling in this survey you can help us focus our work and make sure we're doing everything we can to represent the many people who prefer to climb mountains with their feet instead of hands.
And as a barefaced materialistic incentive, you'll be in for a chance of winning the following goodies:
A highly breathable, super-lightweight Voltage (men's) or Electra (women's) Gore-Tex Active jacket
A classic men's or women's Freeflow 30+6 daysack
A pair of men's or women's Expeditor AQ Suede walking boots
The winner will be chosen at random from the completed surveys.
The BMC Hill Walking Survey is part of BMC on Foot, a push to raise awareness of the BMC’s work for hill walkers and its stance on a range of topical issues affecting hill walkers.
Want to get into hill walking? The BMC has teamed up with excellent Plas y Brenin centre in Snowdonia to offer a series of Head for the Hills starter courses. A great way to get the skills you need to be confident in the mountains, you get a discount of up to 50% with free transport from Llandudno Railway Station. For more information see here.
