Are you a BMC member wanting to learn new skills? Come along to one of our training courses to learn about first aid, climbing, winter skills or navigation.
The BMC Clubs Committee organises a series of training courses for BMC club members held at club huts and outdoor centres around the UK, and are run by experienced and qualified instructors. The costs of the courses cover all instruction and overnight accommodation and are kept down due to a grant the BMC receives from Sport England.
Each course is either one, two or three days long, with accommodation, instruction and group equipment included in the cost.

These courses were originally set up in response to the BMC Club Surveys carried out in 2010 and 2013. These surveys revealed that a majority of clubs felt that their members would benefit from training in specific areas, and to this end the Clubs Committee began to offer training to club members. If there are courses that you feel would benefit members in your club please get in touch with Jane (details below).
