Everest: nine times for Kenton Cool

Unstoppable British Mountain Guide Kenton Cool has yet again smashed his own record - to climb Everest an incredible nineth time.

Kenton was on a Samsung expedition to test the 3G signal on the mountain. Apparently the signal works well - and he now has the honour of being the first person to ever send a 3G tweet from the summit of Everest:

"Everest summit no 9! 1st tweet from the top of the world thanks to a weak 3G signal & the awesome Samsung Galaxy S2 handset"

After the tweet he took time out to phone his wife, Jazz, from the summit too.

Look out for plenty more tweets and facebook updates from the roof of the word in the future.
