Let your thumbs do the talking: donate to ACT by text

Text us your wonga and help the hills

Supporting the work of the BMC Access & Conservation Trust has just got easier, you can now let your thumb do the talking and donate by text message from your mobile, wherever and whenever you like.

You can already donate via Paypal to ACT, or as part of your membership application process, but if you want to make a small donation then giving by text couldn't be easier.

How does it work?
Simply text the code AACT01 followed by the amount you want to donate to 70070*.
You can donate £1, £2, £3, £4, £5 or £10.
As an example, to make a £10 donation, you would text the following to 70070: AACT01 £10.
There are no charges, so all the money you donate goes straight to ACT.
If you have any questions about JustTextGiving, you can find the help page on their website www.justtextgiving.co.uk.

The BMC Access & Conservation Trust (ACT) is a charitable trust established by the British Mountaineering Council in 2001. It aims to promote sustainable access to cliffs, mountains and open countryside by facilitating education and conservation projects across the United Kingdom and Ireland.

*Texts are charged at your operator's standard rate. ACT will receive 100% of your donation. You must be 16 or over and please ask the bill payer's permission. For full terms and conditions and more information, please visit www.justgiving.com/info/terms-of-service.
