Top British competition climbers and BMC officials have been on national radio stating the case for climbing to become an Olympic sport.

Media interest in competition climbing is gathering momentum as we move closer to the decision on whether climbing will be included in the 2020 Olympics.

The #Climbing2020 bid gained another primetime radio slot on Good Friday (29 April), this time on BBC Radio 4's flagship news and current affairs programme - the Today programme.  Top climber Shauna Coxsey and BMC competitions officer Rob Adie explained what's involved in the climbing format proposed by the IFSC for 2020.
