Following the Royal Assent of the Protection of Freedoms Act (2012) and the introduction of the new Disclosure and Barring Service, the BMC took the opportunity to update the organisation's Child Safeguarding Policy.
The policy includes a link to a Social Media Policy. The Social Media Policy is linked to from the main Child Safguarding Policy so that the former can be updated when needed without the need to update latter. This is because the field of social media is moving so rapidly at the moment.
The policy is available as a free download here
