Are you a female filmmaker or making a film about an outdoor woman? Now is the time to start thinking about the BMC TV 2018 Women in Adventure Film competition.
This is the fourth year of the BMC TV Women in Adventure Film Competition, and it’s set to be bigger and better than ever before.
The prizes are £600 (first place), £300 (second place), £150 most watched and £150 special mention.
The judging panel will consist of Claire Carter (Film officer, Kendal Mountain Festival), Rich Heap (Film director, Slackjaw), Emily Pitts (Founder and editor, WomenClimb).
The winning film will be shown at Sheffield Adventure Film Festival, Llanberis Mountain Film Festival and Kendal Mountain Festival, plus receive free entry into Banff Mountain Film Festival.
It can be about climbing, walking, mountaineering or any outdoor adventure sport - check out previous entries to get a flavour.
