The BMC is delighted to announce the appointment of three new Independent Directors to the BMC Board, as well as Paul Drew moving from acting chair to the chair of the BMC Board.

With the new year well underway, the BMC is off to a positive start as we welcome the appointments of Caroline Worboys, Diane Hopper and Flavia Alzetta to the BMC Board of Directors. The BMC is also happy to announce that Paul Drew, following a recommendation by the Nominations Committee, has been appointed the chair of the Board of Directors.

The three new directors bring a wealth of experience and skills to the Board as well as fresh new ideas that can only benefit the future of the BMC.

Caroline Worboys is the COO at Outra, a predictive data science business. She brings to the table over 30 years’ experience working in the data industry, specialising in working with data-driven organisations.

Diane Hopper is the managing director at UniqueHR Ltd and is the global HR director at RB. She comes from the Human Resources sector and has a career spanning 20 years working with a diverse array of businesses and companies.

Flavia Alzetta has more than 25 years of experience in general management with a passion for developing customer-centric businesses and building talented and high-performing teams. She also brings significant experience in transforming organisations and developing innovative commercial propositions and partnerships.

All three new directors also have strong connections to the outdoors and are passionate about the BMC’s crucial work in protecting and promoting the interests of the BMC’s membership. We’ll be interviewing them soon to help everyone get to know them more.
