This year promises to be another exciting chapter for the popular Global Youth Summit series of UIAA youth events.

The UIAA's mission is to promote the growth and protection of mountaineering and climbing worldwide, advance safe and ethical mountain practices and promote responsible access, culture and environmental protection.

The BMC is a member federaiton of the UIAA, and in keeping with the organisation's principles, young mountaineers from around the world come together to climb, promoting peace and cooperaton between countries and protection of the mountain environment.

From Iran to Italy, there are currently nine Global Youth Summit events listed on the UIAA website.

The ever-popular annual BMC International Meet is based in the Llanberis Pass this year, and as ever we're looking forward to keen youths from around the world coming to sample the very best trad climbing on offer.
