Wild Country Helium Karabiner Recall

Wild Country have issued a recall for Helium Wiregate Karabiners after in house testing revealed a potentially serious problem with some Helium Karabiners.

Wild Country are requesting the immediate return of all Helium Karabiners and quickdrawers with the following batch codes AAA, AAB, AAC, AAD, AAE, AAF These codes are stamped on the spine of the karabiner. Either return karabiners direct to Wild Country or to the shop from which they were purchased. Decathlon have issued a recall notice for the Simond Edge rope, the models affected are the 9mm x 80m and the 9mm x 100m. Users are requested to stop using any affected product and to return it to their nearest Decathlon store and be issued a refund.
