Recall Notice - Petzl William And Am'D Ball-lock

Following recent customer feedback and testing it has been found that there is potential for the locking system on the new version of Petzl Ball lock carabiners to fail.

Although the risk is very low Petzl are carrying out this recall as a preventative measure to limit any danger to users. Please return any used or unused products to your point of purchase for a full credit. The products that are affected by this recall notice are the; Am'D BALL-LOCK (M34 BL) and WILLIAM BALL-LOCK (M36 BL). See the recall notice for full information.

Decathlon have issued a recall notice for the Simond Edge rope, the models affected are the 9mm x 80m and the 9mm x 100m. Users are requested to stop using any affected product and to return it to their nearest Decathlon store and be issued a refund.
