Psyched! is produced by the BMC Competitions Committee, to keep BMC members informed about what is going on in the world of competition climbing.

This newsletter, like BMC Area newsletters, is written by volunteers and also by competition climbers for BMC members who are interested in what goes on in climbing competitions and the competition climbing community.

This issue covers key climbers both at home and abroad and volunteers, articles on the dry tooling and ice climbing comps, insights from various members of the British Team and much more!

Competitions Committee

The Competitions Committee, as per the current Terms Of Reference for this committee, oversees the development of competition climbing in Britain, and is responsible for the organisation and promotion of the various British Climbing Championships, including setting the rules. It is also responsible for oversight and delivery of the Development Squad, which provides the pool of climbers from which the GB Climbing Team is selected for international youth competitions.
