The next Peak Area Meeting is on Wednesday 3 September 2015, starting at 7.30pm, at the Globe Inn, 144 High St., Glossop SK13 8HJ.

Come along to our regular gathering of Peak climbers and walkers, to discuss the latest issues and get involved in the work of the BMC. Discussions will include rope erosion at the Roaches, and a proposal for a photographic archive project. There will also be information about the Women's Climbing Symposium taking place on 17 October at The Climbing Works in Sheffield, and staff from the BMC office will be attending for a Q&A session.

Emma Flaherty talk and slideshow
Emma recently climbed Royksopp, Font 8a at Rocklands, South Africa. At the meeting, she will be talking about her climbing journey, preparation for climbing her first 8a and about her future plans.

Bring some cash
We’ll have copies of the new Peak Limestone North guidebook available to purchase on the evening, at the special price of £20.00 (card payment accepted, too).

The area meetings are run by volunteers and are your chance to join in with debate and influence decisions about what happens in the Peak and rest of the country.

Free supper provided by the BMC. All are welcome.

See the BMC Local Areas site for more details about the meeting
