New BMC Lake District map now in stock

Posted by on 04/10/2006

Following a sell out of the popular BMC Lake District map, a freshly printed version is now available to buy from the BMC online shop.

Designed specifically for hill walkers, climbers and mountaineers, the map is 100% waterproof, contains crag information for most of the Lake District’s peaks and uses contour colour shading for easy identification of hills and valleys.

It covers the whole of the Lake District – why take four maps into the showers when you can take one?

“By opting for 1:40 000 British Mountain Maps have selected a scale that provides clear, detailed information to one of the most popular hill walking areas in Britain.”
Sir Chris Bonington

The new version includes an improved geological map, a better layout and updated local information.

Fans of the award-winning Lake District map will be pleased to hear that a Snowdonia map will be available in November.

The Lake District map is priced at £10.95 for BMC members (£12.95 for non members), plus p&p.  To purchase the map please visit the BMC online shop.
