Maeshafn Quarry open again !

The BMC is pleased to report that the landowner has now restored permissive access to the crag.

Access was withdrawn several months ago following a planning application to Flintshire County Council (FCC) to rework the site for minerals. Subsequently, the BMC met with the landowner to discuss the extent of our involvement in the case, and this appears to have satisfied some of his concerns.

The planning application may eventually be subject to a public inquiry, but for the time being, Maeshafn is open to climbers again – enjoy.
