Mega medal haul for Japan, USA in Boulder World Youth Championships 2017

Nine medals for Japan and four for USA, together the two powerhouses of bouldering won 13 of the 18 medals on offer. Molly Thompson-Smith stole the show for us, by making the final of the Lead World Cup, and coming third in the Rock Master Duel event, the exciting finale of the festival.

Shauna Coxsey crowned in Munich

Bouldering athletes competed before a sold-out crowd in Munich, Germany, for the final round of the IFSC Boulder World Cup 2017. After a breath-taking season finale, Jongwon Chon of Korea joined Shauna Coxsey atop the season podium to be crowned overall champions, and a thrilling never-before-seen end to the European Championships.
