#WomenOutdoors: Prize winners

Posted by Joanna Rowbottom on 16/08/2016

#WomenOutdoors Week has come to an end and all that's left to do is announce the winners of the prizes donated by Cotswold Outdoor.

The campaign aimed to encourage more women to get outdoors and try climbing, hill walking, mountaineering or any other activity that appealed to them. There were beginners climbing events with Women Climb, Trad Festivals in the Peak District, and lots of people enjoying getting outdoors with family and friends between 5-15 August.

For those who did get outdoors we asked them to share their photo’s with us on Twitter and Cotswold Outdoor kindly donated prizes for the winning photo’s.

The winners

Everyone’s a winner really, but we did have some prizes to give out so we had to narrow it down a little. It really wasn’t an easy choice, there were so many different adventures going on and lots of brilliant photos and stories sent in, but the winning entries are below.

Prize: Fitbit
