Use #showthelove to join the BMC’s Instagram competition and support the Climate Coalition’s campaign to highlight the potential impacts of climate change.
This week the BMC will be running an Instagram competition to inspire everybody in the UK to turn their hearts green and #showthelove for the people, places and life we want to protect for generations to come.
We want to get everyone showing their love for everything that could be lost to climate change. To join in, share a photo of a green heart, that you made or found in nature, on Instagram using #showthelove and link into the BMC Instagram @teamBMC. Extra points for taking a picture in a beautiful setting that is vulnerable to climate change, but if you can’t get outside, don’t worry; #showthelove can be as simple as drawing a green heart on your hand and sharing a picture of it on Instagram.

Please use the hashtag #showthelove and link it to @TeamBMC. If you don’t have Instagram, you can still share the photo on Twitter or Facebook using the same hashtag as this nationwide campaign covers all social media.
All pictures of green hearts that are shared will be pulled into the online green hearts gallery. For more information visit the showthelove.org.uk website and the Climate Coalition’s website.
