Kilnsey path gets sorted

Mmmmm.....nice path.

As promised, the collapsing footpath in the Dihedral Wall area has now been restored by the BMC.

Using Access and Conservation Trust funds, we employed a local contractor to install stepped wooden revetments to stabilise the path and stop erosion. As the photo illustrates, the work looks pretty good already and should bed-in nicely over the next 12 months or so.
 
Many thanks go to the local farmer for agreeing to the work, YDNPA Ranger Iain Mann for his liaison work with Natural England, and to John Webber for building the path.
 
So, no excuses for not ticking Relax now.
