Worlow Quarry (Lower Pule Quarry)

Yorkshire Gritstone

User attention

2018 Rockfall: a significant full height section of the eastern wall has recently collapsed leaving exposed, sandy and un-weathered rock. The remainder of the eastern wall which has not collapsed is also of questionable stability with a reported 60mm crack behind the entire wall. There have been other significant rockfalls in the recent past in the quarry and climbers are advised to exercise extreme caution if visiting this venue.
