Dartmoor

Much used by outdoor groups for the Mod - Diff south-facing routes. Some promising bouldering.Not in SDD guide!As you approach from the car park you will find a picnic type area and some generally good promising. The listed routes are found to the right of the boulder area down a small boldery gully. Care should be taken as the ground is considerably broken and twisted ankles could be a possibility.

Parking and Approach

The access footpath commences with a small car park, capable of holding a maximum of 4 vehicles. Arrive early to avoid disappointment.
Area information

Part of the Dartmoor National Park is used by the MoD for training and live-firing exercises. It also offers a wealth of excellent hillwalking and numerous Tors, some of which still have the potential for new climbing development – especially wild bouldering.
