An impressive sweep of rock enclosed in a short wide gully with moss low down, yet clean and sound in its upper part. This extensive broken granite crag lies prominently on the hillside above Spout House Farm, 1 km along the valley road from the King George IV pub.

Parking and Approach
From the Fisherground campsite NY 204 008; paid parking available in-season. Out of season park at Eskdale Green SD 149 998. From the north end of the campsite, a permissive track leads past a small pool and over the railway. From here the crag can be reached following the footpath directly opposite the railway crossing - follow the path directly up the fell until a traverse right can be made to reach the left-hand side of the crag. NB Do not attempt to approach past Spout House Farm.
