Several small granite outcrops hidden amongst the native oak woodland on the opposite side of the valley from the King George IV pub. The rock is excellent and mini-classics exist throughout the woods. A unique crag for the Lakeland area and worth seeking out.

Parking and Approach
Parking is available just across the River Esk from the King George IV pub. A track leads upstream by the river for 400m. Enter the woods alongside the first electricity pole on the right - head uphill from here (no path). The crag is split into several buttresses; near the top of the tree line, these come into sight within five minutes of entering the woodland.
