Parking and Approach

From High Wallowbarrow Farm, follow the river bank path beyond Wallowbarrow Gorge Crag. Take the rising diagonal path along the top of the extensive scree slopes. Bushwhacking through unpleasant vegetation then leads to the base of the buttress.
