Westminster Arms Quarry (Malvern)

West Midlands

The land upon which all the outcrops lie, is owned and managed by the Malvern Hills Conservators. This organisation was created and empowered by an Act of Parliament and by local councils to preserve the hills for all to enjoy. As such, they have no objection to climbing, but they do request that a courtesy call be made to their offices (in person or by telephone) prior to climbing. Priors Croft, Great Malvern. 01684 892002.

Parking and Approach

Take a left off West Malvern road, heading south. The turnoff is a wide road just by the main school building. Follow the road up to a pathway which leads into to open land, the quarry is unmissable. Anchor pionts are apparently present on top of the crag and access to these is a bit of a scramble. Trees are also present slightly higher where anchors can be made.

For group climbing activities you have to follow there comercial activities process (even if no money is changing hands) this involves providing a risk assessment, proof of qualifications and insurance to them.
