Wenvoe (Whitehall) Quarry

South East Wales

WAS: a \\"Typically bleak\\" quarry, but close to Cardiff. Mostly steep slabs with pegs and bolts: routes up to 42m. In winter a large pool forms in the middle, which may make approaches to the central wall hard.NOW: is filled in so rather hard to climb in.
