Parking and Approach

Drive north through Ramsbottom. Turn L just before the railway bridge. Alternatively turn off the M66 where it meets the A56 and turn R immediately after the railway bridge. Take the next L and turn R at the T-junction. The path is at the end of the road. Park sensibly. Follow the path for 100m until the quarry becomes visible on the L.

Area has now been turned into allotments and so access may be tricky in many sections. Locals are friendly, though, so be polite and cause no damage.
