The slate climbing here was pioneered with a mixed ethic by persons unknown. Subsequent to its development it was formally agreed at a BMC Meeting (2014) that natural sea cliffs in Devon should not be bolted.
The bolted climbs are a little more exciting than the average sport route and some trad gear should be carried. Most of them go at HVS/E1 f6a/6b. Not recommended for inexperienced climbers.
There are no climbing signs and a chap claiming to be the landowner wasn't keen to promote climbing. Details published here in no way imply a right of access.
