Parking and Approach

Park in the Artist Corner car park on the A6 just south of Matlock. Cross the road and follow St John’s Road to just before the gate at the top. A track, signposted Matlock Bath, goes off to the left. Follow this for 200m until a second, smaller path can be taken. After 150m the path dips, and 75m beyond this a stone wall runs down the hillside. From just beyond this wall a bramble-free way can be found down the hillside, about 50m to the crag top. Just to the left of the wall, a V-slot allows a descent to base.
