Small but perfectly formed bouldering crag a couple of hundred metres to the south-east of Simon's Seat. It does not appear to offer much from a distance as the bouldering is tucked out of sight. The climbs cover a spread of grades and are, almost without exception, extremely good. The rock is undoubtedly the purest grit on Barden Fell (and therefore perhaps in Yorkshire?) and will not stand abuse. Keep brushing to a minimum; a whack with a towel between attempts is plenty.
