Harthope Quarry

Co. Durham

Quarry on W side of road just before summit provides a number of short ice lines in most winters. Exits very poor if turf not frozen. Number of lines variable, but typically 4-6. Blocks on upper terrace may provide suitable belay anchors, but may be snow-covered.
