Harmer Hill

A small roadside quarry which is remarkable only for the super arete of Jubilee Principle 6b(NL). There is also The First Quarry which provides a further 5 routes in a rather dank and dismal setting.

Parking and Approach

Approach via the A528 and turn onto Lower Road at the Red Castle pub.Roadside quarry is located on the right hand side of this road after about 1.5km.The First Quarry can be found some 300m to the SE.

The crag seems to have had more use since Covid. Some climbers descending to the right accidentally find themselves in the neighbour’s garden and they are feeling they may have to pay for fencing . Please be careful.
