Greenleighton Quarry

Northumberland

250 metre long 5 metre high clean cut vertical limestone quarried walls. There are many problems in the simple to VS range over good landings, and they are really quite good fun. Certainly worth a visit for bouldering at up to VS.Many low grade wall problems, probably not worth recording as they are all very much of a sameness. Just get out there and have fun.The crag has never been a secret, but no one has ever owned up to climbing on it until 2004 when John Dalrymple & Steve Gray had a bumble around.
