Parking and Approach

The crag's on open access land; however the most logical access from the east involves crossing a 30 metre section of enclosed farmland with no public right of way. The owner of this land is not kindly disposed towards climbers and has refused consent to cross his land. Fortunately, access is possible on public RoW and access land from the car park at Bwlch y Gle Dam (SN 922 881), although this undulating route is somewhat circuitous and tiresome. Please contact the moderator for advice/ information re. access in advance of any proposed visit.
Area information

A very extensive area -extending from the sea-cliffs of Cardigan in the south-west to the mountains of southern Snowdonia (Cadair Idris and Yr Arran massif) to the gritstone outcrops of the Rhinogau, to the old slate quarries of the Dinas Mawddwy and Barmouth areas and as far east as the Berwyn hills.
