Castle Clough, Hapton

Various crags (some overhanging) mainly on the West side although there are some on the East side, along the stream bank in a sheltered river 'gorge' towards the motorway / railway end of the clough. still in need of cleaning.

Parking and Approach

Park at the Mill Hill picnic car park in Huncoat / Hapton, walk down to the road and cross the ford. Head up the hill 50 yards and take the footpath heading off on the left(grit bin). Follow this path down the along the stream (several crossings are required) until the crags are reached. Numerous small crags on both sides of the stream with the majority on the West side. There may be closer parking in Hapton itself.
