Carreg Lefain

The Lleyn

The steepness of the right-hand side of the crag is deceptive and routes tend to be harder than they look. This section of the crag is dominated by an overhanging nose of rock on the right-hand side of the cliff.Coprolalia reaches the top of the nose via a gangway from the right and Astasia via the one from the left. Burn or Bust takes the nose more or less direct. On the far left of the crag is a subsidiary buttress, taken by Echo.Easiest approach is from Nefyn.Routes from severe - E5, single and multi pitch.

The parking described in CCG Lleyn is "take left by chapel take 3rd right, park on right" has today(1/8/20) proven to be a bit of a issue with a farmer who claims that it is private land and doesn't want people to park there. Best to find alternative parking until further guidance.
