The world’s first Youth Climbing Symposium returns on 24/25 November! Once again, leading coaches and climbers from around the world will be brought together to coach the youth of the UK at the fantastic Oakwood Climbing Centre.

Last year saw two days of fun and excitement, with 160 kids benefiting from some of the best coaching in Europe and a chance to experience some of the latest training methods from our list of world class coaches; 2018 aims to be bigger and better!

The Youth Climbing Symposium aims to produce an inspiring weekend of climbing and coaching.  Each youth climber gets to choose five workshops from 10 of the most exciting and forward thinking coaches and climbers.

MORE DETAILS: on the Youth Climbing Symposium website

The impressive line-up of coaches and climbers includes:

Shauna Coxsey

Leah Crane

Udo Neumann

Neil Gresham

Dicki Korb (Kraft Factory)

Patrick Matros (Kraft Factory)

Ollie Tor

Louis Parkinson

Will Bosi

The symposium is all about raising the bar of youth climbing in the UK.  Aimed at children aged between the ages of 8 to 18, they get to move fluidly between workshops aimed at movement, training, psychology and just plain fun.

The Youth Climbing Symposium will be held at Oakwood Climbing Centre in Wokingham on 24- 25 November.

A day ticket will cost £160, this gives access to a full day of coaching including five workshops.
