YCS 2020: Round 2 Start Times

We hope you’re all looking forward to Round 2 of the Youth Climbing Series 2020 this Saturday 8 February.

The format for the roped rounds is; four roped climbs, one attempt per climb, up to six minutes on each climb. Youth E and D will be top roping and youth C, B and A will be lead climbing. You can find the start times for your region below.
 

North East & Yorkshire
Registration opens for all categories at 9.00am.
A briefing will take place at 9.45am.

Climbing starts at roughly 10.00am for all categories.

North West & Lakes
Registration opens for all categories at 9.00am.
A briefing will take place at 9.45am.

Climbing starts at roughly 10.00am for all categories.

Wales
Registration opens at 9.00am for all competitors.
A briefing will take place at 9.45am.

Climbing starts at roughly 10.00am for all categories.

Midlands & Peak
Registration opens at 9.00am and closes after 30 minutes.
A briefing will take place for volunteers, parents and competitiors from 10.00am.

Climbing starts at roughly 10.30am for all categories.

London & SE (North)
Registration opens at 8.30am for all categories.
Please be mindful of those who need to register for the morning start time.
A briefing will take place 15 minutes ahead of each climbing start time.

Climbing starts: 

10.00am          (Male A, B, C, D and Female B and D only)
11.00am          (Female A, C, E and Male E only)

London & SE (South)
Registration opens 1 hour before each climbing start time.
A briefing will take place 15 minutes ahead of each climbing start time.

Climbing starts:

9.45am              (Male D, B, C and Female D and B)
1.15pm            (Male A, E and Female A, C and E)

South West(South)
Registration opens at 8.30am for male categories only.
Registration opens at 12.15pm for female categories only.
A briefing will take place 15 minutes before each climbing start time.

Climbing starts:

9.15am               (Male categories only)
1.00pm               (Female categories only)

South West(North)
Registration opens at 8.30am for male categories only.
Registration opens at 12.00pm for female categories only.
A breifing will take place 30 minutes before each climbing start time.

Climbing starts:

9.30am               (Male categories only)
1.00pm               (Female categories only)

*Please note that Exeter Half Marathon is taking place at 10am on Saturday 8th Feb, starting from Haven Banks (directly outside The Quay). Parking is going to be a challenge, particularly  for those in the afternoon session. Please allow plenty of time for parking. We will be running strictly to timetable, and will not be waiting for late competitors.
