What’s New
This month sees the publication of some great new climbing and walking guidebooks.
Baffin Island is the fifth largest island in the world. Now the first comprehensive guide to this premier destination for adventurous climbers, skiers and trekkers is available. If you’re a warm weather climber and Baffin is outside your temperature comfort zone, you can choose from a range of guidebooks to enticing climes and climbs; Sardinia, Hampi and Bedami in southern India, Yosemite, and the Mourne Mountains of Ireland.
Walkers and trekkers can choose from a guide to leisurely day walks in the Yorkshire Dales, or some challenging Lakeland walks and fell runs. For adventures further afield there are maps to popular trekking areas of Chile and Bolivia.
For those who like to plan ahead, the beautifully illustrated John Muir Trust 2011 calendar and diary are now available to buy. They also make perfect Christmas presents – only 113 shopping days left!
