New Baffin Island guidebook.

Check out the latest additions to the shop, as well as some special offers for the month of September.

What’s New
This month sees the publication of some great new climbing and walking guidebooks.

Baffin Island is the fifth largest island in the world. Now the first comprehensive guide to this premier destination for adventurous climbers, skiers and trekkers is available. If you’re a warm weather climber and Baffin is outside your temperature comfort zone, you can choose from a range of guidebooks to enticing climes and climbs; Sardinia, Hampi and Bedami in southern India, Yosemite, and the Mourne Mountains of Ireland.

Walkers and trekkers can choose from a guide to leisurely day walks in the Yorkshire Dales, or some challenging Lakeland walks and fell runs. For adventures further afield there are maps to popular trekking areas of Chile and Bolivia.

For those who like to plan ahead, the beautifully illustrated John Muir Trust 2011 calendar and diary are now available to buy. They also make perfect Christmas presents – only 113 shopping days left!

Visit the What’s New section of the BMC online shop to see all the new titles.

Special Offers
This month our Trekking Deal lets you save an extra 10% on a range of maps, guidebooks and instructional manuals; which means that BMC members can save up to 20% on selected products. Offer ends 30 September 2010.

Our fantastic ‘3 for 2’ deal on all British Mountain Maps also continues this month.

Coming Soon
Due out this month is the new Climbers’ Club guidebook to Tremadog and the surrounding area, and Mark Reeves’ handbook to climbing harder. Next month sees the publication of the first book to describe the numerous mountain ranges, summits and remote inland regions of the Antarctic, and a new version of the BMC’s Safety on Mountains book.
